Charice is Glee’s New Girl

Charice really IS going to star on Glee!

EW reports the 18-year-old singing superstar will play a “foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder.”

Charice posted on Twitter, “It’s official. I’m on Glee (next season) but story behind it. When the rumor came out, it wasn’t true. But then after that, I tried to audition. And I made it!!! Let’s party!!!!”

Earlier this month, Charice was rumored to join the hit FOX series but in the end wasn’t true.

Listed are the major characters in the series. All ages are of The Last Olympian.

Percy Jackson – age 16, demigod son of Poseidon; he is the protagonist of the series.
Grover Underwood – age 32-33 (16 in human age), satyr, best friend of Percy; he becomes Lord of the Wild in The Last Olympian.
Annabeth Chase – age 16, demigod daughter of Athena, strong friend (and eventually girlfriend) of Percy. Very intelligent, skilled in architecture and strategy.
Luke Castellan – age 23, demigod son of Hermes, later inhabited by Kronos, sacrifices himself in The Last Olympian in order to save Olympus. Antagonist of series, turns hero at the end.
Thalia Grace – age 15 (permanently), demigod daughter of Zeus, first appears at the end of The Sea of Monsters.
Nico di Angelo – age 12, demigod son of Hades, holds grudge against Percy temporarily, commands the dead.
Tyson – age 12, Percy’s half-brother through Poseidon, first appears at the beginning of The Sea of Monsters, assists Percy frequently throughout series. Achieves high army rank at the end of The Last Olympian.
Clarisse La Rue – age 18, demigod daughter of Ares, does not get along with Percy or Annabeth.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare – age 16, a “clear-sighted” mortal girl who assists Percy, later becoming the Oracle of Delphi.
Bianca di Angelo - age 14, demigod daughter of Hades, joins Artemis’s Hunters, first appears and dies in The Titan’s Curse (gets lost in the Junkyard of the Gods).

The Lost Hero

It’s official! Today, Disney-Hyperion announced that the second series of Camp Half-Blood adventures will be called The Heroes of Olympus. The first book, The Lost Hero, will be published Oct. 12, 2010.
The image above is not the final cover. That will be revealed this summer, along with more information. Who is the lost hero? Which characters from the first series will you see? Who are the new demigods? For now, I can’t drop any hints, but here is a short book description from the official press release:

-Oh my Gods! Percy Jackson’s next installment! The Heroes of Olympus! and I already predicted it would be awesome! I love how Rick Riordan writes these things about Greek Mythology in the most modern way that invites not only teens but adults alike. It’s so mind refreshing, adventurous with a hint of drama, comedy and anything else…. It’s like a complete package you would like a fantasy book to be…. Bowdown to Rick Riordan… :D
